Clint Underwood
Leadership Consultant
Clint brings more than 30 years of leadership, talent development, and risk-informed decision making to the Solutions 21 team. A retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, former Navy SEAL and 160th Special Operations Aviation Nightstalker, Clint spent his service time leading and developing the next generation of Special Operators and Aviators throughout extreme high-tempo mission sets—giving him a hard earned and unique awareness of what it takes to successfully adapt risk management within a highly technical and dynamic operational environment.
After leaving uniform, Clint focused on translating his command presence into enterprise value across robotic manufacturing, talent management and cutting-edge cybersecurity strategies throughout the Defense Industrial Base. There, he leveraged adaptive risk-management discipline to assist Federal, State and Local partners in strengthening defense initiatives across national assets that are essential to our way of life—transforming security management from reactionary technical responses into a focused enterprise awareness and corporate partnership capable of safeguarding critical, national assets.
Clint helps managers and executives form flexible perspectives on succession, multifunctional team priorities, and process design while continuously managing risk across business unit objectives. His experience in high pressure, no fail missions translate into industry practices that preemptively minimize team vulnerabilities and implement control measures while creating cultural cohesion in real-time. Clint’s passion is to help clients develop the depth of confident leadership needed to drive perpetual growth through conscientious resource management.
Clint holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University and a Master of Education from Austin Peay State University, and holds an Honorary Doctoral accreditation from The School of Hard Knocks.
Clint lives in Clarksville, Tennessee, with his wife, Kim, and their four daughters.
