About Terry
Terry’s 25-year career as a clinical social worker and hospital executive brings a unique perspective to the Solutions 21 team. She retired from the Army in 2014, serving in leadership positions. She exercised transformational leadership in the nation’s most elite Special Operations community as the first social worker to earn the Special Operations Medical Identifier in the history of the Army.
Terry’s ability to communicate with executives across specialties reflects her experience in understanding what motivates people. Terry’s expertise is defined by leadership development and transdisciplinary leadership, helping lead cross-functional teams to understand their environment, define their problems, and develop organizational approaches to solve complex problems.
Terry has served the government in both active duty and serving in government service, beginning her career with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Medical Centers in Wilkes-Barre, PA; Denver, CO; Colorado Springs, CO; and Butler, PA. She transitioned to the Department of the Army and began her Army career as a civilian at Fort Bragg, NC. Quickly realizing her calling, Terry transitioned to active duty and served her career at Fort Bragg in the 82nd Airborne Division and Special Operations, deploying two times with the 82nd to Iraq. Terry most recently served as the Senior Civilian and Director of Quality and Regulatory Programs for the Central Carolina Defense Health Agency Department of Defense.
Terry, a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, is a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Social Work. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Marywood University and is finalizing her dissertation for her doctorate in Executive Leadership and the University of Charleston.
