About Joe
Throughout his professional career, Joe has learned that at the core of every successful project, program, or initiative there is a strong organizational culture based upon bringing together the right people and empowering them to explore and create opportunity together.
Joe has a vast experience in leadership that began with his five years of playing Division 1 football at The Ohio State University. He went on to play in the NFL for three years followed by a four-year career in the Army, where he served honorably as an Army Ranger, deploying multiple times to the Middle East. Joe was injured during his last deployment and medically retired from the service. He went on to graduate school post recovery and into coaching Division 1 football where he received his Master of Science degree from Arkansas State University. After graduation, Joe transitioned into municipal government where he would serve for fifteen years, serving largely as a Director of Parks and Recreation, but also served as a Deputy City Manager leading multiple departments and staff with great success.
Joe is leveraging his two-plus decades of leadership experience as a consultant working with businesses to create intentional next-generation leadership development, strategic planning, and organizational enablement. Through his work with Solutions 21, he will assist in growing high-performing leaders that businesses need in order to create and seize opportunity in today’s workforce.
